Return and Refund Policy

Returns

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at Info@chennaichairs.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. 

Chennai Chairs treats all warranty claims seriously and thoroughly investigates each instance. Please allow up to 10 business days for warranty claims to be investigated and resolved.

Note: You are not entitled to a replacement or refund easily, because you changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or if you ordered the wrong item, for above condition we will charge transportation costs at actual

Simply return your purchase in an undamaged and re-saleable condition to Chennai Chairs within 7 days of purchase and exchange it for another item or a refund.

For outstation orders customer can send the product to the below address as in the same package as received, after receiving the product in good condition refund issued in 3 - 4 business days

* Cane Furniture: Order value less than Rs.30,000/- cancellation accepted only within 24 Hours, if any customer want to cancel the order or return after production completion we charge 20% of the total order value as order cancellation Fee.

Order value above Rs.30,000/- cancellation accepted only within 72 Hours, We dont cancel the order or return after production completion, if the customer want to cancel the order we charge 60% of the total order value as order cancellation Fee.

In line with our shipping policy, we calculate shipping costs at 17% of the product's price based on the shipper's price list. It's important to note that shipping charges can fluctuate, particularly for remote locations or based on the distance between the shipper's hub and the delivery point. In the event of any adjustments to the shipping cost, Chennai Chairs reserves the right to either proceed with order processing or offer the option to cancel and issue a refund to the customer.

Please Note: Valid ID or address proof needs to be submitted as per shipper policy to authenticate delivery with invoice

Faulty and Damaged Items

Where an item has been delivered either faulty or damaged, for a warranty claim to be opened the customer must provide.

  • your Name and Email Address;
  • a brief description of the issue;
  • order number, the item name and serial number, if applicable;
  • date of purchase; and
  • for items that faulty or damaged, photo and or video footage detailing the problem.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Info@chennaichairs.com.

Warranty

Some items come with a 12/24 month warranty which you may seek a service for the item. Extended warranties for your peace of mind may also be available for some items. Please refer to the item listing for warranty period.

Exclusions

This warranty is not available for:

  • damage due to misuse by you or the user;
  • any accessories or bonus gifts, including (but limited to) batteries, carry bags, etc;
  • cosmetic damage, to boxes, packaging or exterior surfaces (including during transit);
  • damage caused by use with another item;
  • damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause;
  • damage caused by operating an item outside any guidelines published for use;
  • items that have been modified to alter functionality or capability without the prior written permission of Chennai Chairs
  • defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal ageing of the Item,
  • if we believe the item is stolen based on information provided by law enforcement authorities, or
  • Where proof of purchase (invoice or paid Order confirmation) cannot be provided.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll automatically refund your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Return - Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product, with RMA number and copy of the receipt, to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
